these are linguists from different areas of the world

to escape from the pressure of presentation yesterday
today, that's right, today
the linguistic CofP has a reunion in a chinese buffet
i was so excited
because
our linguists "uniform" has come to earth
haha
(i did wear it, but it was too hot so i took it off!)

this is the first time that EVERYONE gets together, right?
i've been expecting such a day for a long time
and indeed, i enjoyed the lunch very much
in class, i'm a very quiet student..
(hahaha don't you think so????)
in fact, i'm quite talkative
because of unfamiliarity
i'm afraid of talking to people that i don't know well
but, you can ask wendy...
i'm not that kind of shy girl...
hahaha

i did have fun during the lunch
xi-qun's funny way of speaking
is so impressive
and some of you were so lovely
and did the "ugly face" with me
so funny so interesting

i wish i could join you at joseph's
unfortunately because of the flight
(oh... if i had known, i wouldn't book it this early)
anyway

i'm gonna miss the time we get together for the class
